Well, technically, this is not really my first ever abstract if you include finger-painting from childhood or the odd experiment from art school, and technically, this may not even be defined as a true abstract. But the main point is that when we were asked to make an abstract piece in the Make Art That Sells e-course I’m taking, I had no idea where to even start.
After many attempts, failed starts, tears and hair-tearing, I did it! For a first real attempt, I think I did a pretty good job!
I can’t say that I’ll get into more abstract art, but I may just have to change the way I paint. All because of this assignment. Yay to new challenges! And yay to Lilla Rogers and her Make Art That Sells course!
