Being busy with non-illustration work for a while, I was getting a little fed up, but was finally able to get my paints out and do something just for myself. I’m planning a trip to Paris with a friend, and needless to say, that city is on my mind…
I had fun with this one. I skipped all the preliminary steps—no rough sketches, no composition planning, no pencil drawings. I started directly on white paper with a pen, and finished off with a watercolor wash. I should do this more often!
